Hello my name is: Anu Lala, and I have been practicing as both an Art Therapist and Psychotherapist in Toronto for the past 26 years.

Whatever struggle you are facing I am aware that taking the first step in creating change is always the hardest. You have already started by finding this site . My role is to guide you to see all your strengths, choices, and solutions and provide you with the strategies which will support your pathway to healing. With my help it will not be a fearful lonely journey, but one full of reflection, insights , hope, learning, acceptance and resolution.

Having specialized in working with diverse populations for the past 26 years, my work is strongly grounded in anti-racist, anti-homophobic, and anti-oppressive principles.

What is Art Therapy?

Art therapy is a form of therapy which facilitates self-expression through the use of Art. Emotions, thoughts, and wishes are expressed symbolically through the creation of personal images and objects. The Art which is produced becomes a source of communication through which one can reflect upon and work through areas of conflict and distress.

How does it work?
